A Collaborative Project for a Cleaner Island
In 2022, fifteen students from Schotborgh School in Koraalspecht worked with upcycle artist Roberto Tjon a Meeuw to create a beautiful mural and several art pieces made from waste for LionsDive. Tjon a Meeuw outlined the main design of the mural, and the students added their own details. They collected the waste materials themselves to make their unique artworks. This project aimed to teach the children the importance of keeping the island clean. While tourism is important, it’s also our responsibility to care for our environment.
