Dive Center Ocean Encounters is a renowned SSI and PADI Dive Center, located at the marina of our resort, with a magnificent reef adjacent to the resort. The dive center offers a diverse selection of different tours, making this is your "One Stop Shop" for snorkeling and diving in Curaçao.
If you’re interested in an underwater adventure, then sign up for a snorkeling trip, dive course or boat dive and enjoy the fascinating world of beautiful corals and colorful tropical fish. Ocean Encounters has daily snorkeling and diving trips to the reefs on the eastern side of Curaçao. These reefs are voted the best-preserved coral reefs in the entire Caribbean.
Do you want to explore the depths of the underwater world? Register for an introductory dive. Or take the next step and get your diving (PADI) license by following the Open Water Course. Not up for a certification course? Dive with dolphins in a protected natural lagoon, where no certification is required.
In addition, more in-depth courses are available like: Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Specialties (such as nitrox, deep diving, boat diving and drift diving).

There are daily boat trips for 1 and 2 tank dives to different dive sites, with fascinating names like Smokey's, Barracuda Point and Kathy's Paradise. If you prefer to see the underwater world from above, then you can book a snorkel trip. Every afternoon there are boat trips to the famous Tugboat wreck and Director's Bay. You can snorkel on your own or join the guide who shows you the most beautiful marine life within easy reach.
Have you ever wondered what rays, sharks and turtles look like up close? Come and snorkel or dive with these fascinating animals. During this tour in the lagoon at Sea Aquarium Park, you can even feed these animals. The rays swim around you and eat out of your hand. Sharks and turtles swim in the basin next door and you can feed them through the special feeding windows. It’s a unique diving or snorkeling experience that you’re sure to tell your friends about back home. The entrance fee to the Sea Aquarium Park is included in the tour.
