Alberto Contador is coming!

It's the second time Alberto Contador will be racing in the Amstel Curacao Race. In 2007 he won the race wearing his first yellow – Tour de France - jersey and he gladly accepted this year’s invitation for the closure of the cycling season on November 7th at Lions Dive & Beach Resort Curaçao. Contador was the absolute star at the Tour de France 2009. First there was the fight for leadership with Lance Armstrong, in the mountains we could see his strength, but it was his victory in the race against the clock in Annecy that showed the world the true champion.

,,Two years ago I had an unforgettable vacation on Curaçao”, says Contador with a big smile. ,,I went together with 2 friends and they did not speak about anything else in the past 2 years. In my hometown Pinto you will find a cycling club named Club Contador Curaçao. Last year I was not able to come, because I just received the keys for my new home, but I am very glad with the opportunity to come again this year”.
