We are very proud to announce that worlds best sprinter in the Tour de France history, Mark Cavendish, will be present at the Amstel Curacao Race at Lions Dive & Beach Resort! Only a couple of hours after his superior sprint on the Champs Elysees he spoke with Leo van Vliet, coach of the Dutch national team and organizer of the Amstel Curacao Race.

Last year it was not possible to arrange the Curacao trip in his busy schedule, but this year there is no doubt in his mind, he wants to come to the 'end-of-the-season' race at Lions Dive & Beach Resort. With 6 stage wins in this years Tour de France and Milan-Sanremo earlier this year, Leo van Vliet found another strong competitor for the race. The Schleck brothers, Karsten Kroon, Lars Boom and Edvald Boasson Hagen already confirmed their presence and van Vliet is still busy with some other big names!
