In Curacao it is a tradition to chase away bad spirits at the end-of-the-year with loud fireworks, called Pagara. 2009 was a good year for us, but nevertheless we stick to the tradition and the last day of the year we always invite all our guests to join us for the Pagara and raise a glass of champagne towards the new year.
